#127: Tara Hahn of Half Past Two

Every songwriter has their own story to tell and when a guest comes on Pop-Punk & Pizza Podcast to share their story, it always means a lot to me. Especially when that story is very personal. Tara Hahn, lead vocalist of California ska punk band, Half Past Two, does just that on this episode of Pop-Punk & Pizza. On the band’s latest single, “Shine”, Tara dives deep into her feelings to sing about her daughter, Neely, who has, Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). “Shine”, is a positive spin on a situation that isn’t the greatest. If you ask me, that’s what being in a ska-punk band is all about. Half Past Tw0 plans to release a full length album in 2021. I can’t wait to hear it!
