The Punk Rock Museum opens with guided tours on April 1st, 2023
Plus May tour guides announced for The Punk Rock Museum!
The Punk Rock Museum, located at 1422 Western Ave., between the strip and downtown in Las Vegas, Nevada, will open on April 1st, 2023. From artist tour guides such as CJ Ramone from The Ramones and Greg Hetson from Circle Jerks and Bad Religion, to allowing visitors to play the actual guitars donated by bands to the museum, to a wedding chapel, it seems to me like this will be the most ambitious, interesting, and fun museum ever created.
“When the doors open, visitors will feel the passion that has gone into the museum as they explore 12,000 square feet of exhibits encompassing five decades of punk history.”

Not only can you see cool artifacts at the museum, such as fliers, photos, clothing, instruments, and handwritten lyrics, there will also be a “Jam Room” where visitors can play the actual guitars and basses through the amps the artists themselves played them through — which is insane.
“We have guitars and amps from Rise Against, NOFX, Pennywise, Sick of it All, Strung Out, and many more. Yes… you can actually PLAY THEM. A lot of people ask, ‘what happens if something gets broken?’ The simple answer, we fix it – just like we did on tour.”

Pete Koller from Sick Of It All donated his white ESP Viper guitar for visitors to play in the Jam Room. Pete will also be doing guided tours from April 14th-16th. When Pete was asked what he was most looking forward to when being a tour guide, he said, “I am very excited to share my stories about some of the exhibits at the punk rock museum even if I don’t know the true story I will make some shit up for you.”
